Slacklinin' like a boss!

Last night, for FHE, we decided to do some slacklining. Little did I know that I was the only one that has ever really tried it before. And even then, I didn't get good enough to teach others how to be pro. I figured that at least one or two other guys in the group would have done it before. I was wrong. So, it was a learning experience for us all.
It took us a super long time just to figure out how to set the thing up. We got the rope stuck in the little gizmo that tightens it. It took a bit of elbow grease from all of us to get it undone. Ok, well maybe not everyone. There just wasn't anymore room for me to join in on the rope. Anyways, we finally got it figured out. Then the slacklinin' began!
Of course, the guys jumped up there first. We all needed a shoulder or two so that we didn't fall on our faces. The guys called it "bro support."  I believe Trenton jumped up first, then the other guys followed. This guy, Jesse, cracks me up! He's a stinkin' tall guy on the ground. Then we throw a slackline under his feet and he becomes a giant! And check that face! That's full concentration mode.
Anyways, The girls got their turn too. I hopped up there with the help of Gage and Achsah's shoulder. And Jesse was so kind as to sit on the line to make it a bit easier.
The hardest part about slacklining is getting up there. The problem is that you put one foot up there and it wobbles like no other! I'm pretty sure that one of the guys got a video of my foot doing it's wobbly thing. No one knows how to fix it...It's just something that you gotta get through.
Most of the girls kept at least one person by their side the whole time. The guys got pretty daring towards the end and jumped up there solo. Gage and Trenton got pretty good at it.
All in all, it was a awesome FHE night. Many more great nights are to come.

Sincerely,
Me
